Official Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the Platform Lift Company’s “Win a VIP Hospitality Experience for Two at Silverstone” competition (“Prize Draw”).

Promoter: The Platform Lift Company, Anton Business Park, Millside House, Andover, SP10 2RW, United Kingdom.

By entering this Prize Draw, all entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

This competition is in no way endorsed by LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Google, or any other social media platform.

1. Prize Draw Eligibility and Entry

• This Prize Draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over.
• Only one entry per person is allowed.
• Entrants must provide their full legal name and a valid email address.
• Duplicate entries, including those made using multiple email addresses or aliases, will result in disqualification.
• Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
• The competition closes at 23:59 BST on Monday 1st Septembert 2025.
• The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
• The Promoter reserves the right to amend the competition closing date at its sole discretion.

2. How to Enter

• Visit the Platform Lift Assist website and complete the online competition entry form.
• Provide your full name and email address.
• Submit your entry during the competition period.
• Entries submitted outside the competition period will not be counted.

3. Winner Selection and Notification

• Winners will be selected at random using a software-based randomiser from all valid entries.
• Winners will be notified via email by 16:00 BST on Thursday 4th September 2025.
• Winners must respond within 72 hours of notification to claim their prize.
• If a winner fails to respond in time or cannot accept the prize, an alternate winner may be selected at the Promoter’s discretion.
• The Promoter is not responsible for missed notifications due to spam filters or inactive email accounts.

4. Prizes

1st Prize: VIP Hospitality Silverstone Experience for 2 (worth over £180)

• VIP experience for two at the MINI Challenge JCW hospitality at Silverstone on Sunday 21st September 2025
• Access to the MINI CHALLENGE race centre
• Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea
• Hot/cold refreshments and specialty drinks throughout the day

2nd Prize: Cordless Combi Drill (worth over £100)

3rd Prize: Amazon Voucher (worth £30)

Runner-Up Prizes: Win one of four Power Banks (worth over £15)

All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

The First Prize does not include travel or accommodation. Winners must make their own arrangements and are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance where necessary.

5. Liability

The Promoter is not liable for:

• Technical issues (e.g. internet, server, software, or email failures)
• Entries lost or delayed for reasons beyond its control
• Any injuries, loss, or damage resulting from acceptance or use of a prize
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Personal Data & Publicity

• Personal data will be used solely for administering the competition in line with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
• By entering the Prize Draw, entrants agree to receive marketing communications from the Promoter.
• Winners may be asked to take part in reasonable publicity.
• By entering, entrants grant the Promoter the right to use any content related to their prize experience in promotional materials for up to 50 years.
• Winners must not publicise their win or give interviews without prior written approval from the Promoter.

7. General Terms

• The Promoter’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
• The Promoter may amend these Terms or withdraw the competition at any time without notice.
• Entries that are fraudulent, incomplete, or violate these Terms may be disqualified.
• The names of winners (first name and surname initial) can be obtained by writing to the Promoter within one month of the competition closing date.

8. Governing Law

This Prize Draw and these Terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
